Piping System Training Overview

Piping System training is a
course anyone in the piping system industry can understand and
everyone who attends will use. This training follows the underlying
principles that determine how items in the piping system respond in
different setups and scenarios. Piping System Training uses a
minimum of math formulas with an emphasis on understanding the
relationships between components making up a piping system.
Our classes are designed for developing core competencies and
essential skill sets, giving you the ability to take what you've
learned and apply it directly back on the job. We partner with

most comprehensive training you can receive on fluid and gas piping
systems.
Topics covered in this 2-day course include:
- basic terminology, units, and physical laws that apply to fluid
flow
- understanding the role of tanks and vessels
- centrifugal pump operation, importance of the pump curve, and
power and operating cost calculations
- head loss and pressure drop calculations for pipelines, valves,
and fittings
- control valve operation, classification, sizing, and
selection
- principles of process measurement and controls
- types of processes and process equipment used in piping
systems
- types of piping systems, key concepts to understanding system
operation, and how to troubleshoot piping system problems
Classes are from 8 AM - 5 PM with one hour for lunch. Example
problems are provided so bring a calculator if you want to test out
your new skills.
