Our biggest new feature in Flow of
Fluids 2009 allows you to calculate pumping costs for your piping
system model over a user-defined period. You can define different
operating conditions using lineups throughout the analysis period,
and the costs for each operating condition can be calculated. Flow
of Fluids' Cost Calculator will total the cost of operation for
that period appropriately. This feature provides another tool to
aid engineers in green and energy efficient system design.

You can generate complete characteristic curve data from a
single flow coefficient and valve position by selecting from a list
of valve design and flow characteristics.

Automatically change control valves from a set flow rate to the
calculated manual position for easier lineup creation.

Calculates the atmospheric pressure at any specific elevation.
This is particularly important if the system being modeled is at a
